CF Ranch Boer Goats

CF Ranch Boer goats started out as a 4H project for Katie in 2009.  Another 4H'er introduced her to showing and caught the "goat bug" quickly. She learned quite a bit in the first year of showing and wanted to expound on it. Since then she has grown her heard with superior genetics to produce the best quality of meat goat for 4H'ers and FFA kids. 

Katie Callaghan is currently a Senior at West Texas A&M and is studying for her Bachelor's in Agriculture Education. She was a proud member of the WTAMU Equestrian Team in which she was on the National Champion Team in 2013. She is also the Parliamentarian Officer for WTAMU's Collegiate FFA. Although she was only in 4H for 3 years, she accomplished a lot in those few years. Such as:

• Earning the Prestigious Gold Star Award
• District Record Book Winner
• State Record Book Finalist
• Multiple District Horse Show Champion
• State Horse Show Top 10
• 2 Time Consecutive County Showmanship Champion
• 2 Time Consecutive County Breeding Goat Champion

Although aged out of 4H she continues to help kids with their projects and puts  on various clinics to help kids with their goat projects. She has taught multiple Grand Champions, Showmanship class winners, and first year kids to a successful first time showing in the ring.
