If you ever visit CF Ranch you will in no doubt be greeted my our ranch mascot Ccino, as in Cappuccino. He came to us at 4 days old regected by his mom and unwanted. We bottle raised him and he became our guinea pig for us.
We use him to help teach people about goat maintenance such as hoof trimming and giving shots. Although a wether, he does his job of telling us when does are in heat, all the benefits of a teaser buck without the smell or attitude.
He did his first public appearance when he was 3 months old at the Rockwall Youth Fair Ag Awareness Day and taught hundreds of 3rd graders about meat goats. He loved the attention by all the kids did not want that day to end with all the free back rubs!
Ccino is also the official babysitter of the goat kids and any other goat that is at the ranch. He knows the rules and teaches the babies right from wrong and where the best places are to get some fallen food!
